Family Dates

15SEPT09;; Had a date with my daddy today. He texted me and asking me if I wanted to go to a dinner and a movie. My response is yes. So I got ready and went to my grandparents' store to meet him. When he got there he asked what I wanted to do and I was very undeceive. So we ended up watching Sorority Row. I thought Sorority Row was very rushed, but I liked it. It's confusing as well to...[INSERT SPOILER HERE]. Yeah, not going to spoil anything from this movie. But I really liked the actresses Jamie Chung (Claire in the movie) and Leah Pipes (Jessica in the movie). After the movie, daddy and I went to dinner at Mel's Drive-In. I ordered a Mushroom burger without fries and a chocolate milkshake. Daddy ordered something from the breakfast menu and a strawberry shake. I had a fun time with daddy. :) Overall, the night was alright-good. I got to see a movie I wanted to see for awhile (even though it wasn't as good as I thought it'll be) and I got to see daddy.

16SEPT09;; My dad's side of the family (excluding my dad) went to Crustacean to eat dinner as a dinner to send my cousin and I off to our second-year of college. We shared appetizers and some entrees. I ordered the Helene's Ravioli. I thought it tasted kind of weird, but still edible. I ate most of it, but shared it with my younger cousin, Darren, and my aunt Tania. I ordered Creme Brulee for dessert and that was so good! :P I haven't had it for awhile...so I was happy to order and eat it! Manns, this place is expensive. The bill came out to be almost $500. My grandparents paid though. So expensive...

Aunt Betty & Uncle Eric's Big Day

Whew...yesterday was a long and tiring day. It was my aunt Betty's wedding! She held it at Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City. It wasn't that far and not a very long car ride from San Francisco.

I woke up in the morning &had to eat and get ready. I ate &took a shower and changed. Waited for everyone to be ready to leave. We left at around 1-something pm and drove straight to the hotel. Met up with everyone, such as my uncles, aunts, relatives, etc. Went up to the suite my aunt Betty was in and watched her get ready. She had the tea ceremony at 2-something pm and the wedding part where they said "I do" at 4:30-something pm. Reception was afterwards. I ate a few bread and cheese and then I had to go and help out in the ballroom. I had to figure out where each table is and who is sitting where with my younger cousins, Timothy and Preston, and this other guy that's a friend of the groom's. It was a headache because we were missing stuff here and there and it was just all crazy. I think it was because of the tension and stuff to celebrate the wedding. Dinner was alright and stuff. The cake as well. The cake was actually made by the groom's sister, which was pretty awesome. My uncles and aunts were trying to get me to drink, but I refused. They came over so many times luring me to drink. x] They were pretty drunk themselves. Hahahas, they kept drinking. I have not gave in! That was basically the whole night. Left around 1-something am because my aunt Nancy was drunk and kept keeping my aunt Francine. x] Got home around 2-something am probably and had to do the nightly routines and went straight to bed because I was so tired! :)

I had a good night! :) It's fun to see relatives from L.A. come up. I loved their company. They're always so nice and stuff. It was great having their company. I am gonna miss them. They are leaving today. I think they left already, but I am not sure. :\ I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye!

Seriously, I have around sixty+ pictures on my camera. I deleted the bad ones and kept the good ones. And they are uploading so slow on my Internet connection at home, so it's gonna take a while to upload. I am also waiting on other photos from the wedding too! It's going to take awhile before I get all of them though. :\ I'll share a few and link you guys to the album when my pictures are all uploaded. :)

(It's the few recent pictures.)

Long, Long Day

11SEPT09;; I was helping my grandma cook curry chicken and Vietnamese noodles. I wasn't able to do much on here or return comments and whatnot. After cooking, my relatives arrived. My uncles and aunts and so on came to my aunt Maggie's house so we can have a big get-together and eat dinner. Who came? My aunts, Virginia and Nancy; uncles, William and Jack, my aunts' moms (two of them), and my grandpa's older brother came. Many people including the regular crowd, my aunts, uncle, cousins. The house was crowded with people chatting and eating. I kind of fell out of place, I was quiet. I had no one to talk to and nothing to do. I wasn't able to use my computer because it was too loud. My mom, grandma, and aunt Virginia's mom left with us around 9-something pm. Got home and I used the Internet for a bit and felt tired and slept. Today was a long and tiring day...

12SEPT09;; Was thundering last night...I mean, this morning at around 4-something am. It woke me up. It was also hailing! Hard! Been thundering throughout the early morning. So scary... x] All day we went out. The whole she-bang went to eat brunch in San Mateo/El Camino Real. The seats was a long wait. After, we went back to my aunt Maggie's house. Then to Marco Polo and bought ice cream/gelato in flavors: Durian, Red Bean, Taro, and Mocha Chip. We bought a pint of each flavor and the total was around $36. Went back to the house and ate the ice cream/gelato.
Then to Chinatown and bought two dozens of egg tarts from the famous bakery in San Francisco, called Golden Gate Bakery. Went back to the house and stayed there until 10 something and left to go home. Here I am, typing away. But now, I should get ready to sleep. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. There's a wedding to attend! My aunt Betty's wedding...again, I have to help at reception. Why am I always helping different aunts' weddings in receptions? I have never agreed. They just think that I would do it. -.- Boo!!

Goodbye, Hello!

Hey everyone! This is Ivy! :) I was previously on and the owner of xIvy.org. I have moved from a domain to a free blogging platform, Blogger, because I don't feel like maintaining a domain site anymore. It is not fun anymore. I am easily irritated nowadays and the most irritating thing for me is to maintain xIvy.org. It was fun for having a domain for such a long time, but nahhs, domain site is not something I am interested in anymore. So I have moved here, HeyyIvy.blogspot.com! I hope you all understand. As for advertising, I am going to finish it up with the remaining advertisers here. Thanks for the support, everyone!

Well, I am waiting for my uncle Glen to come and drive my grandma and I out to his house, so my grandma can cook for our relatives that are coming later in the afternoon. My grandma is planning to cook curry and a Vietnamese dish, I think they're noodles. My aunt Betty called earlier to ask if I wanted to go out with her to get our nails done. As good as that sounds, I am not into that stuff. And plus, my finger is injured. :\ Stupid cut! Whatever. I should get ready now. I am going to take my computer with me as well, so I wouldn't be bored over there...

&EDIT [2:32pm]
I am going to contact my Affiliates about this new blog and then open this to the public &close xIvy.org. Contact me ASAP if you are an Affiliate that I have not contacted! 'Kay, thanks!

&EDIT [4:19pm]
Over the next few days, I will use my domain xIvy.org here on this blogger until the remaining time it has until expiration. Over the next few days...probably on a weekday because I will be busy this weekend to change it over.

Alright, I have to go back to helping my grandma cook for the family &relatives that are coming tonight. They should be here soon...

God bless the USA!
